It all started so simple.
 
   To walk on the beach, in the early morning light or on those sad grey days, is one of my favorite things to do.  It clears my mind, sweetens my heart and inspires my imagination.  In those moments, I always remember to be grateful.  

   I walk the shore and reach for a stone. It's perfectly smooth, flat and still glowing from the water. Oh my, what a beautiful button this would be.
   Then the water and I walked side by side and I began looking down on the sand as I walked. No longer making wishes, staring at the horizon, instead with new motivation keeping my eyes focused on the wet sand .   
   This perfectly formed stone was a gift, which gave my imagination such a boost, I couldn't wait to get home.

   It took many stones to try my drilling out, but finally I did make myself, a perfect stone button.
